Computer modeling is a specialty at EAS. We have a suite of models for simulating watersheds, surface water, groundwater, water quality, hydrodynamics/water quality, air quality, multimedia fate and transport, risk assessment, habitat, geochemistry, statistical packages, and models for engineering and environmental analysis. Recently EAS associate Dr. George Yeh, professor of civil engineering at University of Central Florida has developed a new generation of integrated surface and groundwater models (WASH123D and 2D-BEST models) for simulating flow, water quality, and sediment transport in watersheds and bays/estuaries.
