EAS has field equipment for conducting filed investigations and tests. Field tests include infiltration tests, aquifer tests, and soil borings. EAS has installed, maintained, and operated hydrologic instruments for surface water flow rate and water level measurement, groundwater level measurement, ultrasonic velocity measurements, rainfall, ET, weather stations, and sampling of soil, surface and ground water, sludge, and sediments. Keck, Marsh McBirney, Hydrolab, Stevens, and ISCO meters have been employed. Continuous monitoring with recorders and telemetry has been performed. EAS employs its FDP-approved CompQAP for sampling and in many cases project specific QAPs are prepared and approved by FDEP and other agencies. EAS also has a generic Health & Safety and project specific Health & Safety plans have been prepared.
Computer hardware includes Pentium PCs, Windows/NT and access to USF mainframe computer; software includes AutoCAD, Microstation, Geopack, ARC/Info and ARC View, MS Office, WordPerfect, Word, and others.
